2024 is over and we’re onto the new year. This means new costumes, cons and more. In an effort to hold myself accountable, I wanted to share my 2025 cosplay goals and plans. Here are some of the goals I have for the year:
- Create Daemon Targaryan’s Tourny Armor for C2E2 – I know last year’s C2E2 cosplay goal was a total bust. That’s why for this years I got a much earlier start on it. Time is counting down but I already have made substantial progress and I also don’t have an entire gown to hand embroider this time.
- Attend 3 cons in cosplay – I typically have only done 2 cons each year since I tend to stick with what’s local to Chicago and the suburbs. I want to step it up a little since I have made so many awesome friends at cons and I have an additional one I would already like to add to this year’s lineup.
- Release 3 new cosplay patterns – I actually have planned out which new patterns are coming for this year and I definitely have more free ones lined up!
- Release 1 new print set – Thanks to the big shoot I did with my mom for my birthday last year, I have a planned set I just need to wrap up editing on to release.
- Complete 3 cosplays in progress from 2024/2023/2022 – Last year’s goal of 5 was a little too much to do on top of net new costumes. So I slimmed this down to 3 and added in progress from 2024.
