Another C2E2 has come and gone. This is truly one of my favorite conventions to attend every year and I’m lucky that it’s local to my area. I’ve been going for quite some time now and I always have a fantastic time. While my legs might be relieved that it’s over, I’m definitely bummed about it. This means though it’s time to take a beat and reflect in a C2E2 2025 cosplay recap.

Cosplaying at C2E2 2025

I brought 3 total costumes to the show. On Friday I spent the whole day in a more comfortable option, my Shego cosplay. I didn’t realize I had never brought her to a con so it was nice to finally take it out. Saturday was tough since I did an hour as the full Daemon Targaryen armor and then made the jump to my Vault Suit from Fallout 4 which had been upgraded and also was paired with the improved super sledge. The cosplay was pretty comfy for the day but the hammer did get heavy after a while. For Sunday, I spent the full day as Daemon Targaryen in the tournament armor. That one was tough but with enough water and energy drinks I made it.

My Experience

This year I really got to focus on seeing friends and it was such a treat. I’ve met lots of people from cosplaying and it was so exciting to see them all. I went to a Fallout meet up which led to seeing old friends and making new ones. This con typically has the most people I know at it between my work friends, cosplay friends and even my family.

This was also the first year I stuck around for nightlife. Hanging out with people after con hours (and with of course drinking) was also a great time.

C2E2 2025 Post Mortem

So as I look back on the con I have a to do list. The biggest thing will be upgrading and repairing Daemon. Damages were quite minimal to the costume but there’s plenty I would like to improve after wearing it for a day and getting feedback from others. I also have lots of content to get caught back up on, Daemon patterns to scan and clean up for my Ko-fi shop, and plenty of new projects to start.

I’m also getting ready for the next con! Bristol Renaissance faire is just around the corner and in August I might attend Fan Expo Chicago. I’m still debating going to more cons this year since I typically have never done more than two, but we’ll see what works with my schedule.
