There’s tons of different sources for cosplayers looking to connect or learn more about the craft. One such form is written content like blogs. Lot’s of cosplayers write their own but so do brands as well. Finding active and trustworthy sources is important for anything especially when learning new crafts. That’s why I’m here to share cosplay blogs to follow that give helpful information on the community and how to get started.
- My blog – I just wanted to get this one out of the way. My blog has resources on a variety of topics relevant to cosplays. Everything from making them, makeup, wigs, community aspects and more. I try my best to heavily research before writing on a topic to make sure information is accurate. So yes, my blog itself is a good one to follow.
- Kamui Cosplay – Sventlana and Benni have an incredible blog that they occasionally fill with updates on what they’re doing as well as resources for cosplayers to learn more. These two are considered cosplay veterans and I often take their advice at face value because of how knowledgeable they are. I definitely recommend checking out their blog.
- Miccostumes – This brand sells cosplays for those not interested in crafting. They also have their own blog too. They have articles on things like tutorials or some behind the scenes tips for cosplays like storage.
- Cosplay Central – You may be familiar with them from cons like C2E2 and the cosplay central crown championships. They have both guides and news to help learn more about cosplay and stay connected with the community. They definitely have great cosplay blogs to follow on their page.
