I’ve been cosplay Lady Dimitrescu’s daughter, Daniela, since shortly after Resident Evil Village came out. I felt it was finally time to really wrap her up with a new, better sickle and a big photoshoot. The photoshoot was done at Fan Expo Chicago with Juan (Pintography) and I’m obsessed with the results. Now that I have cool images to show off the costume, I want to go over how to cosplay Lady Dimitrescu’s daughters. While I specifically was Daniela, this can also work for Bela and Cassandra.

Lady D’s Daughters’ Dress
The dress wasn’t really anything special for putting together. I actually purchased this years ago off AliExpress shortly after the game came out. The dress came with gloves and jewelry but ultimately I replaced the gloves with ones I found on Amazon and I’ll cover the jewelry I use now later. The dress can be made though. Patterns for it exist on Etsy and with simple floral, black satin or silk fabric you can get the same effect.
How to Make Lady Dimitrescu’s Daughters’ Sickle
The sickle was originally made from EVA foam. I found a blueprint on Etsy (that’s sadly no longer available) to use. It definitely wasn’t my best work since I was still pretty new to EVA foam. The sanding definitely could have been smoother and the paint job cleaner. In the end, I wrapped the grip with a brown leather strip.
Later on I decided to make a better sickle. By this point though I had my Bambu Labs P1S 3D printer so I opted to print it. This was done with PLA filament and then I moved on to surface prep (sanding and filler primer applications). Once that was done I used two different shades of silver hammered spray paint which looked much better. Then I repeated wrapping the grip with a brown leather strip but I also weathered the edges of it with a knife first.
Lady D’s Daughters’ Jewelry
The necklace and choker that originally came with the costume looked NOTHING like the jewelry the sisters wear in the game. So down the road I had to find something better. The main necklace I purchased from Amazon and the choker was from a lovely seller on Etsy. They have different colors too for the gem so you can be the exact sister you want.
Lady Dimitrescu’s Daughters Cosplay Makeup Tutorial
To really bring the look together, it needs makeup. The first step is the temporary tattoo on my forehead. There’s lots of places to order these online. Once that is on I begin working on my eyes. I do a messy black eyeshadow application and then winged eyeliner.
Then I use a black lipstick or gloss. Once my lips are set I use stage blood to apply all around my mouth and slightly on my chest and neck. Eating man things can be messy work so have fun with it.
