I still look back on the first Overwatch and remember it so fondly. I would come home after college classes and get to squad up with my friends to game together. I currently have quite a few Overwatch cosplays already or in planning stages because of it. Now, Overwatch 2 had me very excited since it meant new characters and skins to cosplay as. So you might be wondering what my Overwatch 2 cosplay planning has looked like since the launch.
So far the Overwatch 2 reskinning of characters really didn’t have much I wanted to work with. For sure Sombra did look amazing with her new hair and jacket and thus I have taken an interest in that for some Overwatch 2 cosplay planning. The biggest focus has mostly stemmed from the new characters.
The absolute apple of my eye is obviously Junker Queen. Junker Queen is a tank and I am already a tank/healer main when I play Overwatch. Her style and skins match my preferred aesthetic and I immediately fell in love with her circuit breaker and punker queen skins when I saw them. I have not made final decisions on any of my Overwatch 2 cosplay planning with her but I think you can definitely get your hopes up for me to do something with Junker Queen and more.
