Marvel movies, comics and more are home to so many of the spider heroes. From closet cosplays to full lycra suits, one of these spiderverse cosplay ideas is sure to be the right one for you. Each character has different suits and variations to choose from though.

Spiderverse Heroes Cosplay Ideas

  • Miles Morales:
    • Standard Miles Morales Suit – The black and red suit is common in the comics, the PS4 game and Spiderverse films. Get super snug in a comfortable lycra suit as standard Miles Morales’ Spiderman.
    • Earth-42 Miles – This is an upgraded version of the suit from the Across the Spiderverse film. Use 3D printed parts to make your suit even better than the standard.
  • Spider Gwen:
    • Standard Spider Gwen or Ghost Spider – In the animated shows, comics, games and Spiderverse films, Spidergwen has a pretty standard outfit with varying turquoise shoes. So opt for ballet slippers or converse and bring the ghost spider to life.
    • Earth-65 Ghost Spider – Her sleek dark suit and jacket combo makes for a cool Spidergwen variation that’s sure to stand out from the norm.
  • Spiderman:
    • Standard Peter Parker Suit – The classic, OG blue and red suit is a staple in the cosplay community. No matter which Spiderman is your favorite, Tom Holland, the comics, Toby Maguire, etc., everyone will love the standard suit.
    • Spiderman 2099 Miguel O’Hara – Choose the navy blue or white suit to show off your spider muscles. This has potential for a 3D printed build too due to the armor.
    • Homecoming Vigilante Suit – This homemade look is perfect for beginners or budget cosplayers. With layered clothing, goggles and a simple mask, it captures Peter’s early DIY phase.
    • Earth-616 Peter Park as a Dad – Have a kiddo to cosplay with or just want something a little silly? Get your Spiderman suit and pink bath robe ready to cosplay the iconic Peter Parker as a dad from the Spiderverse films.
  • Spider-Punk – Big fan of the punk style? Then try being this variation of Spiderman. Bring Hobie to life with the guitar and vest for Spider-Punk.
  • Spiderman Noir – This black-and-white inspired version of Spider-Man is perfect for fans of vintage aesthetics. With a trench coat, fedora and muted color palette, Spider-Man Noir works well as a budget-friendly or closet cosplay that still stands out.
  • Iron Spider: The Iron Spider suit is ideal for cosplayers who enjoy tech-heavy builds. With metallic finishes, gold accents and optional mechanical arms, this version offers lots of room for 3D printing, LEDs and advanced construction techniques.
  • MJ:
    • Street wear – Her shredded jeans, red hair and Spiderman heart shirt makes for an easy and comfy costume. Be just classic MJ instead of diving right into her spider side.
    • Spinneret – Spinneret combines superhero elements with classic MJ style. This cosplay works well for both suit-based and stylized builds, offering a unique take that stands out from standard Spider looks.
    • Spider Woman – Spider-Woman is a strong choice for cosplayers who want a bold, iconic silhouette. With multiple versions across the Spider-Verse, this character allows for flexibility in suit design, color schemes and build complexity.

Symbiote Spiderverse Cosplay Ideas

  • Gwenom – Gwenom blends Spider-Gwen’s sleek design with symbiote elements for a striking, high-contrast look. This cosplay works especially well with black-and-white suits, sharp detailing and expressive posing. Adding symbiote claws can help sell the feral nature of the character.
  • Venom – Venom is a classic symbiote choice, often associated with Eddie Brock in the Spider-Verse. This cosplay gives you a lot of flexibility, from a more human silhouette to a bulked-up build. Teeth, tongue props and texture work go a long way in bringing Venom to life.
  • Anti Venom – Anti-Venom offers a clean but intimidating alternative to traditional symbiotes. The white suit with black detailing stands out in photos and works well for both streamlined bodysuits and more detailed builds.
  • Anti Gwenom – Anti-Gwenom puts a fresh spin on Gwenom by flipping the color palette. Like Gwenom, this version benefits from added claws or sharp detailing to emphasize the symbiote influence while keeping the Spider-Gwen silhouette recognizable.
  • Carnage – Carnage is ideal for those who enjoy chaotic, aggressive designs. A muscle suit works especially well here to exaggerate the character’s unnatural proportions, while tendrils and jagged textures help capture Carnage’s wild energy.
  • Lady Carnage – Lady Carnage brings a feminine twist to the Carnage aesthetic while keeping its signature feral look. This version can also incorporate textured layers to maintain that monstrous symbiote presence without losing mobility.

Spiderverse Villain Cosplay Ideas

  • Doctor Octopus – This is a great option for some closet cosplay clothing and a massive 3D print build with all the mechanical arms.
  • Prowler:
    • Spiderverse Prowler – For stunning colors, the Spiderverse films’ Prowler is the way to go. Pair dark and neon colors for a suit that really pops and stands out.
    • PS4 Spiderman Prowler – This armor build also has a fantastic color palette. Deck your suit out with a bunch of accessories to be the best video game Prowler.
  • Green Goblin:
    • Classic Goblin – A simple sewing project and body paint is the classic comic book and animated Green Goblin. Sew a quick and easy costume and master the art of prosthetics and contour for the makeup.
    • Maguire & Holland Goblin – The Green Goblin armor and props from the Toby Maguire and now Tom Holland Spiderman films is timeless. 3D print a sleek helmet and strut with the hover board.
